The other week we took each class around the school on the hunt for hidden letters. The aim was to come back with a complete 'Found Alphabet'. Each class succesfully found all 26 letters and from that we created a 3 Found Alphabet Posters. Here's monday's poster, the other 2 posters will be posted very soon so keep your eyes peeled!

St Teresa Year 6 Logo Designs

Today we had a great day working with Year 6. We looked at different logos and how different styles of lettering (or 'typography') might suggest different kinds of pictures (or 'images'). Then we each designed a logo for ourselves using our own names, to show our personality. As part of the design process, we brainstormed several ideas first before drawing the best one. Here are our designs (some aren't completely finished).

On our last visit we spoke to some of you about choosing a thoughtful typeface. Click HERE to visit a good website that might be useful when making your selection. Just type in your letter/word/phrase and choose a style. Try and choose a style that fits with your message.

Ransom Notes (Monday)

Well done everyone who successfully completed their Ransom Notes. Unfortunately Wednesday's group were unable to finish due to school finishing early because of snow but if you guys get a chance to finish them in your own time then please let us know.
